Participants will learn how to perform protection tasks on several virtual machine technologies utilizing their native API and the Rubrik Backup Service. We will also cover various recovery methods that range from full virtual machine export to single file recovery. Virtual machine types covered:

Protecting Databases & Managed Volumes Workshop

The Protecting Databases & Managed Volumes virtual workshop is an introduction to protecting databases with Rubrik CDM. This course will provide participants with hands-on experience. Participants will learn how to perform protection tasks on specific database types utilizing the Rubrik Backup Service to connect the database host directly to the Rubrik CDM installation, as well as protecting non-specific database types utilizing Rubrik Managed Volumes. Installing & Upgrading Rubrik CDM Workshop

The Installing & Upgrading Rubrik CDM virtual workshop provides background knowledge on basic Rubrik configuration options along with how they can be applied to a user’s environment. The course will provide participants a hands-on experience of performing a live Rubrik CDM deployment followed by its registration process.
